The Hemophilia Center of the University Hospital Basel cares for adults with known hemophilia or other disorders of hemostasis. The Hemophilia Center offers comprehensive laboratory diagnostics and an emergency hematological service for hemostasis 24 hours a day.
If necessary, special treatments are approached in an interdisciplinary manner with other university hospitals of the USB (e.g. orthopaedics, gastroenterology). Specially trained hemophilia nurses offer daily competent care and advice in practical matters of hemophilia treatment in the Hematology Day Clinic.
