Indi­vid­ual med­ical care, advice and sup­port are cen­tral to our work.
We are a Euro­pean Hemo­phil­ia Com­pre­hen­sive Care Cen­ter (EHCCC), a cer­ti­fied Euro­pean cen­ter for the treat­ment and care of chil­dren with rare blood coag­u­la­tion disorders. Chil­dren with haemophil­ia, von Wille­brand dis­ease and oth­er rare blood-clot­ting disorders are cared for by an inter­dis­ci­pli­nary team (doc­tors, nurs­ing experts, phys­io­ther­a­pists). In addi­tion to indi­vid­ual med­ical care, we are com­mit­ted to pro­vid­ing com­pre­hen­sive psy­choso­cial sup­port.

We cre­ate opti­mal con­di­tions for learn­ing how to treat at home. The main­te­nance of a well-func­tion­ing, intact mus­cu­loskele­tal sys­tem is cen­tral for lat­er life. There­fore, this is part of the con­sul­ta­tion from infan­cy onwards.
There is close coop­er­a­tion with oth­er spe­cial­ist areas, espe­cial­ly orthopaedics, anaes­the­sia and pae­di­atric den­tistry. We offer sup­port in pro­vid­ing infor­ma­tion and advice to teach­ers and car­ers in insti­tu­tions such as schools, day-care cen­tres and kinder­gartens.
